Santa Vida:
An Accessibility-Focused Approach
About:
The Santa Vida project explores the role of accessible design within a healthcare facility, with a strong focus on the relationship between function, circulation, and user experience.
The key objective was to develop a clinic layout that supports safety and ease of navigation through ADA-compliant planning and secure spatial organization.
The aesthetic direction was centered on creating a calming atmosphere that encourages occupants to feel safe.
To achieve this, I incorporated softened curves, healthcare-grade material selections, and a wellness-focused color palette to reduce the stress often associated with healthcare visits and to create a space where occupants can navigate and engage with ease.
